The company was initially formed on 1 February 1996 as Peter Hogg of Jedburgh, by the late Peter Hogg.

The business in the beginning comprised of 15 taxis and mini-buses, and two PSV 16 seat mini-buses. This, however, has changed over the years, and now buses are the core of our work, with the business now concentrating on the Local Service market, operating many Local Services, Home to School Transport, School Trips and Private Hires.

The business continued to trade as Peter Hogg of Jedburgh until 2015, when the business applied for a new Operators Licence for more vehicles. At this point, the decision was made to incorporate the company as Peter Hogg of Jedburgh Limited, with the vehicles liveried as Peter Hogg Coach and Mini-Bus Hire.

Peter Hogg Coach & Mini-Bus Hire was incorporated as Peter Hogg of Jedburgh Limited and started trading under this entity in 2015.
